It is not always easy for new brides taking on a new role of being a wife

Before the wedding it was just “YOURSELF” to deal with unless there were children in the picture. All of a sudden you have a whole new adult to feed, to encourage, to motivate, to comfort and to nurture.  So many times we as wives we lose ourselves in the process of being EVERY WOMEN. Father time will definitely show it’s UGLY head, our continence, face and figure will suffer.  We have to maintain our individual zest for life and make time to rekindle things that made us unique.

I had another dear friend, that I will call my other “Sister”, she complained to me of her “zest being gone”.  She said, ” I am tired from juggling a new baby and a husband. How can I take care of myself and be a DIVA for him at the same time,  I can’t give it… if I don’t feel it.” After those words came the look with rolled eyes that said, “MEN”. As I  listened to her plight my only question was, ” do you ever just LIVE in the MOMENT?“.  Just allow your self to honor all around you and engulf all of your blessings for that moment. Today my plea goes out to all of my “Sisters” the world over (solidarity between women is so important) LISTEN! “We are always living in the past and two steps ahead in the future but sometimes just being in the moment can change everything”!
