Healthy Hair Nutrients, Watch it grow

It took me years to realize that too much blow-drying, straightening, curling and using harsh shampoos & colorants would not produce healthy hair but it took a toil on my hair.  So does a poor diet and other lifestyle factors, such as stress, illness, hormonal fluctuations, alcohol and smoking. You can coax your hair into healthier shape with a nutrient-rich diet and hair-care products that are based on herbs and essential oils specific to your hair type.  At SoNaturelle we look at the underlying cause of your condition to figure out the best solution for healthy hair, boosting your nutritional intake to start seeing results. Using the Nutri-Body Symptomology Analysis let us design the right hair care formula internally and external with your own needs in mind. Your hair can be longer, stronger or healthier.

Steps to success

  • Wash hair gently with a mild shampoo design for your hair type.  Vigorous scrubbing can damage hair and cause the sebaceous glands to produce too much oil.  If you have Afro- textured hair washing the hair with a conditioner that does not contains cones is the best source of moisture for the hair. Your aim is to wash the scalp of sweat and to loosen old layers of dead skin.
  • Unless you use a lot of hairspray, one lathering with a small amount of shampoo should be sufficient; too much strips the scalp’s naturally protective sebum (oil).
  • To stimulate your circulation and enhance shine, rinse out shampoo and conditioner with cool water.  Afro-textured hair should try NOT to rinse out all of the conditioner since this is added moisture for healthy hair.
  • Turn down heat setting on hair dryer to cool.  It is always best to let your hair air-dry naturally.
  • During hot summer season wear a nice but very hip hat to protect hair from becoming extremely dry and color-fading sunlight (especially if you have color-treated hair). Don’t forget to wear a cap when you swim in chlorinated pools. Or immediately wash hair with a Natural Clarifying Shampoo that is gentil but removes chlorine from the hair.
  • Stress and depression can cause dull, lifeless hair and sometimes, hair loss. Learn a calming pursuit and practice it daily.

 ….Stay BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY
